CFA Society Sri Lanka held a webinar on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Fundamentals in association with the Sri Lanka Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on Thursday, September 8, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sri Lanka time, to further strengthen the focus on the ‘ESG in the Sri Lanka Capital Market, as part of the ESG series.

CFA Institute Director Institutional Partnerships APAC, Sustainability Specialist Dr. David von Eiff will moderate the session. Dr. David brings 13 years of combined experience in environmental compliance, research and sustainability. He received his Doctor of Philosophy from the City University of Hong Kong and his Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Public Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.

His main areas of research focus on economic, sustainability and climate change issues associated with water supply management decisions. Previously, he spent eight years as a regulatory specialist in environmental, health and safety management systems, having clients in a wide range of industries to improve their environmental programs and identify methods by which they could make their operations more sustainable, including process redesign, water and energy. conservation and development of environmental management systems.
